Problem 1: How do I add 'Basic Flowchart' as a select-able option when I create a new flowchart?
My employer installed Visio on my desktop and somehow they managed to do it without the option to create a new 'Basic Flowchart.' You read that correctly - Basic Flowchart IS NOT AN OPTION. I have searched here and other support sites and no one else seems to have ever had this issue.
When I click on Flowchart in the Suggested Searches, I get the following 19 options:
Property Buying Flowchart, Cross-Functional Flowchart, BPMN Diagram, Article Publishing Process, Theater Booking Process, Waste Classification Procedure, Environmental Impact Study, Patient Medical Process, Work Flow Diagram, Microsoft Sharepoint 2013, SDL Diagram, IDEFO Diagram, Work Flow Diagram 3-D, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Data Safety Sheet, Data Flow Diagram, Audit Diagram, Program Structure, Six Sigma Diagram.
Problem number 2: I had a workaround for the above that I have used for the last three weeks whereby I removed the swim lanes in the Cross-Functional Flowchart and worked from there. Then today, after working for 2 hours on various pre-existing flowcharts I needed to create a new flowchart. So I click New > select Cross-Functional Flowchart and by default all my shapes are now filled with blue. Before today there was no fill. How can I change this back?

Workaround #2: New > Cross Functional Flowchart > Instead of Selecting Create, Select the Left arrow. When the new document opens Select Shapes > More Shapes > Basic Flowchart (at the moment they are not filled with blue).
Thank you,
